This is not an episode of myth busters, but regardless I address the oil conumption issue on the L8T. To find out, I measure out the oil drained from my 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 HD with the 6.6 liter V8 gas engine. This is of course the same exact engine and 10-speed Allison transmission combo found in the Chevy Silverado HD trucks.
