In this video I show you a quick and easy way to #retouch portraits without using frequency separation. This method only requires using two tools in #gimp in order to #edit blemishes and fix problems with the skin within your portrait. To add a professional touch I also show you how to use Gaussian #blur in order to soften and smooth the skin on the model to make your portrait flawless without removing all of the texture from your models face.

Note: Always use RAW files to edit your portraits. In this video I used a jpg for two reasons, one I lost the jpg and the second was because of all of the portraits I felt this one was the best to show the difference that retouching could make. With a RAW file you have more dynamic range with data in the photo and that yields even better results then shown here.
