This time around, they changed the maps and mode, and coupled with the general balance changes since the last time they ran Barrel of Splats, it lead to this run of the challenge feeling a lot more balanced than before. Really, Ballpoint was the only one that still felt outmatched. Perhaps not to the point of being unviable, but definitely harder than the others.

Maybe that's just on me having gotten a bit rusty or wasn't in the groove for Ballpoint, or maybe it's because the Devs still haven't fixed their overcorrecting nerfs back in Splatoon 2 when they overdid it toning Ballpoint back from being very overpowered on debut. If anything, they have only continued this in Splatoon 3 (though only with one, thankfully small nerf). Who can say, really?

Fun Fact: this is one of the quickest turn arounds I've had from playing the matches to video completion.
