INSV Tarini, the Indian Naval Sailing Vessel, has achieved a historic milestone by successfully crossing the International Date Line during its global circumnavigation expedition. As the vessel sailed eastwards across the date line, the crew adjusted their clocks to reflect the transition between consecutive calendar days. The celebration of this unique moment included a symbolic offering of sweets to the sea, showcasing their perseverance and spirit. This milestone underscores the determination and skill of the Indian Navy’s officers as they conquer one of the longest and most demanding phases of their circumnavigation journey.
