The day Joe Biden was named by virtually every US news organization as President-Elect, this is a video of his first public act. When Kamala Harris introduced him, HE JOGGED TO THE PODIUM. That's right. The first thing he did was exercise. He probably did that to demonstrate his health, vigor, and enthusiasm. But it is also a signal he personally believes in the power of being active. Will President Joe Biden make physical activity a priority in his administration? Will he be a champion for acting on overwhelming evidence that physical activity is one of the most powerful forces for health? Will his administration support widespread implementation of effective strategies to help people be active? Helping more Americans be active would be one of the best ways to improve physical and mental health of Americans of all ages, races, ethnicities, and places of residence.
