Just a short cross-country ski trip from Grass Lake (Luther Pass) down into Hope Valley. While I was skiing, I also was looking for some birds. There's tons of snow still around Lake Tahoe. Although a lot of it is pretty crummy and rotten, it's still snow, and it's still skiable! At higher elevations the snow is much better, however.

The backcountry cross-country skis that I used in this video were Asnes Gamme 54 (waxables with Silver and Red Klister) with NNN BC Manual bindings. And I was wearing Fischer OTX Adventure boots.
