According to tests, these batteries have a state of health (SOH) of 70% and can withstand over 5000 cycles.
A novel electric vehicle (EV) battery with remarkable range, climate temperature tolerances, and charge cycle longevity was introduced by China's Farasis Energy.
Even after hundreds of charge cycles, the new battery can function normally in the temperature range of -22 °F (-30 °C) to 149 °F (65 °C). It can also maintain a 70% state-of-health (SOH).
This year, on June 18 and 19, in Thailand, Farasis Energy presented the new battery at the ASEAN Automotive Supply Chain Conference.

The innovative new EV battery from Farasis
For new energy passenger and commercial vehicles as well as novel applications like two- or three-wheelers, electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL), etc., the new battery exhibits considerable promise.
Jack Peng of Farasis Energy, who demonstrated the new battery technology, claims that it has advantages such as excellent cycle life, strong temperature adaptability, superior performance, and superior safety requirements.
Should the battery claims be verified, this might significantly alter the EV market in the future.
Peng clarified that the battery was designed to withstand the extreme temperatures found in the countries that make up the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and its environs.
