OIL FREE CHICKEN RECIPE | FAT FREE LEMON PEPPER CHICKEN | ZERO OIL CHICKEN

Today's recipe is fat free lemon pepper chicken. It is very easy to cook at home with basic ingredients and it is finger licking tasty. On this channel, we don't compromise on health or taste, we give you the best of both worlds. We hope that you would like trying our recipes.

**COOKING TIME**
Pre-cooking prep time: 10 minutes
Marinade time: 30 minutes
Cooking time: 45 minutes
TOTAL TIME: 1 hr 25 minutes

INGREDIENTS:
500g Chicken with bones (boneless can also be used but the calorie count will be changed accordingly)
1 tbsp ginger-garlic (Adrak Lehsan)
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp black pepper powder (kali mirch powder)
Salt to taste
½ cup low fat yogurt
3 cloves (laung)
2 small cinnamon sticks (darchini)
8 blackpeppercorns (sabat kali mirch)
4 green chilies
-1 tbsp lemon juice
½ tsp black pepper powder (kali mirch powder)
½ cup water
½ tsp garam masala powder
1 tbsp chopped cilantro (dhania)

NOTE: Herbs and spices are used to add flavor to foods and they are extremely low in calories.

HOW TO SERVE:
It is best served with naan or roti but it can also be taken with boiled rice. But make sure not to take more than the serving size of roti to stay healthy. To watch the serving size, calorie count and a complete guide of how to make a roti click here:

WRITTEN RECIPE:
-Take a pot, add chicken, ginger garlic (crushed), spices (salt, and bleck pepper powder), lemon and low fat yogurt. Mix it well. And let it sit for 15 minutes to half an hour at room temperature (or refrigerate). If you have time you can marinade it overnight because overnight marination gives the best taste.
-Take a non-stick pan and dry roast the whole spices which includes cinnamon sticks, blackpepper corn and cloves (you can add green 1-2 cardamoms if you like adding it otherwise skip it). Roast the whole spices for a minute on low heat and add crushed ginger garlic. And roast it for about 30 secs on low heat.
-Add the marinated chicken and cook it on high heat for 5-8 minutes and lower the heat to medium and cook the chicken until it turns white. Flip the chicken after intervals so that it cooks evenly until the water evaporates.
-After the water has completely evaporated and the chicken turns to a beautiful golden light brown color, add whole slit green chilies, and half a cup of water, stir it a little and cover and cook for 15-20 minutes. Chicken usually takes 15-20 minutes to cook on medium heat but it can vary from stove to stove, you can adjust according to your stove adjustment.
-Take off the lid, add lemon juice and black pepper powder, mix it and cook for a couple of minutes on low heat.
-Add Garam masala (ground spices) and let it simmer for 3-5 minutes.And add coriander leaves and sliced lemon for garnishing. Delicious oil free diet (lemon pepper) chicken is ready without any fuss and with basic ingredients.
