It's time for the second episode of our 'From Seed To Spirit' series, which tracks barley grown for The Borders Distillery in Hawick throughout the supply chain, from seed to spirit.

In this video, we join grower Andy Baird of Harpertoun Farm during the drilling of one of his fields of Laureate spring barley.

Andy talks about the number of plants he hopes to get once the seeds have germinated, while he also offers an insight into how Harpertoun is trying to operate more sustainably through the use of cover crops, improving soil health.
