Some of the #mangledclassics are just silly. This is one of those - an iffy (but fun) attempt of a song written in 1907 (the melody, by John William Bratton) and 1932 (lyrics by Jimmy Kennedy). Performed here by me with help from Emily L and Dan D.

If you'd like to hear it done right, I recommend the famous recording by Henry Hall and his Orchestra, which was introduced to me by the great Craig Ross (who produced and recorded most of Palo Santo).
