Reinforcement in Cantilever Beam

This video shows that why reinforcement been placed in top of the cantilever beam. There is quite difference between the simply supported beam and cantilever beam reinforcement. In case of simply supported beam the reinforcement are placed at the bottom of the beam, while in case of cantilever beam reinforcement are placed at the top of the beam.
