Cheapest 1 x drivetrain conversion ever! (Step by step guide, 1 x 7 drivetrain)

Follow my step by step guide for converting a 2 (or 3 x) to a clean, simple 1 x drivetrain for the peanuts (peanuts = less than £35!)

If you wish to skip ahead to different sections, the timings are as follows:

2.17 - Splitting/removing the chain
4.00 - Removing the crankset
10.40 - Removal of the square taper bottom bracket
13.45 - Removal of the rear derailleur
17.50 - Removal of the front derailleur cable and shifter
21.20 - Transforming the existing crankset to the new 1 x setup
28.24 - Re-installation of the bottom bracket
32.42 - Re-installation of the new cranket
35.03 - Installation of the new rear derailleur
36.35 - Re-installation of chain with quick link connectors
39.48 - Installing the gear cable to the rear derailleur
41.10 - Indexing the gears for smooth shifting
45.43 - Summary of finished product
