Flory Industries is a manufacturer of nut-harvesting equipment. They invested in a Lincoln Electric Welding Cell equipt with a Fanuc robot programmed with OCTOPUZ to weld components for their harvester machines and complete mainframes.

With OCTOPUZ, Flory Industries programs their Fanuc to tack weld the components first and then complete the fill arc weld routines. Using OCTOPUZ they are able simulate and program their external axes which includes a headstock - tailstock positioner using coordinated motion to allow the robot to reach all areas of the part.

By taking advantage of the welding features readily available in OCTOPUZ, Flory Industries can easily create weave welds and stitch welds achieving constant push angles all within OCTOPUZ.
