The second steam-era route in TSW is 'Peak Forest - Ambergate to Chinley and Buxton'; released in May 2023. To an extent, it's a welcome improvement over (Barely Captures The) Spirit of Steam, but there's still a lot of things I don't like about it.

The railway runs through more mountainous and varied terrain, with much better scenery to boot. You also get one new steam locomotive - the LMS Fowler '4F' class 0-6-0 - but I'm not happy with the spartan timetable and Stanier locomotives reused from the Crewe to Liverpool pack.
