LISA DEL BO - 'Liefde Is Een Kaartspel' | TOTZ 1996

Het beste uit Tien om te Zien...

In 1996 werd ons land op het Eurovisie Songfestival in Oslo vertegenwoordigd door Lisa del Bo (pseudoniem voor Renilde Goossens) en haar liedje ' Liefde Is Een Kaartspel'. Het nummer maakte geen brokken: Lisa eindigde pas zestiende met 22 punten.
Maar in ons eigen land werd het liedje een groot succes: het stond meer dan twee maanden in de TOTZ-Top Tien. Daarmee oogstte Lisa del Bo wat ze al jaren voordien gezaaid had: in 1990 won ze immers al de finale van de Soundmixshow met 'What's A Woman' van Vaya Con Dios. En in 1993 boekte ze al een eerste bescheiden hit met het nummer 'Vlinder'.

In 1996, our country was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo by Lisa del Bo (pseudonym for Renilde Goossens) and her song ' Liefde Is Een Kaartspel'. The song made no bones about it: Lisa only finished 16th with 22 points.
But in our own country, the song became a huge success: it was in the TOTZ Top Ten for more than two months. In doing so, Lisa del Bo reaped what she had sown years before: after all, in 1990 she already won the final of the Soundmix Show with "What's A Woman" by Vaya Con Dios. And in 1993 she scored her first modest hit with the song 'Vlinder'.
