Crypto sees more than $6 billion in liquidations

While market weakness had already been present coming into Friday, Trump's post sparked a decline of more than 12% in Bitcoin.

Crypto market traders were hit by record liquidations just days after Bitcoin touched an all-time high, volatility triggered in large part by the latest round of tariffs from US President Donald Trump.

Small caps rise up to 41% despite muted index return

For the week, the BSE Sensex index added 1293.65 points or 1.59 percent to finish at 82,500.82, and the Nifty50 rose 391.1 points or 1.57 percent to end at 25,285.35.

The broader indices' performance remained mixed this week as the mid- and large-cap indices rose 1.5 percent each, while the small-cap index ended on a flat note, underperforming the main indices.

For the week, the BSE Sensex index added 1293.65 points or 1.59 percent to finish at 82,500.82, and the Nifty50 rose 391.1 points or 1.57 percent to end at 25,285.35.

Nifty Private Bank, Nifty Consumer Durables, and Nifty Pharma up 2 percent each. However, the Nifty Media index shed nearly 3 percent.

PE inflow in Indian real estate drops 15% in Jul-Sep to $819 million: Anarock

During the April-September period of fiscal 2025-26, the PE investments fell 15 per cent to USD 2.2 billion from USD 2.6 billion in the corresponding period of the preceding financial year, as per the data by Anarock's arm Anarock Capital.
