Our human life is characterised by a lot of emotions and resentment is one such emotion which keeps peeping up at one point in life or another. We all struggle with harbouring resentment towards people who have wronged us in the past. This is an unpleasant situation. When you hold on like this, you feel the pain repeatedly. Sometimes these resentments may feel like they offer security from future harm. But by forgiving, you can make room in your heart for love and care to take root. It's important to remember that forgiveness is a process and may not happen overnight, the he goal is to reduce its intensity and to not let it consume you. Regular practice of this meditation can help to cultivate a more forgiving mindset and reduce feelings of resentment.
