While working on a vacant apartment that the tenant was smoking cigarettes in, when they aren't supposed to be, I noticed the vinyl window frame and screen was just caked in cigarette smoke residue. Here's a video where I clean it just to show how nasty it is. I ended up rescreening the screen afterwards, but this goes to show just why you should never smoke inside. Especially if you're renting a place!

This whole apartment had to have the flooring replaced, the walls and ceilings painted with Killz before repaint, new light fixtures, blinds, etc. Everything that wasn't replaced or painted will be getting wiped down completely. They already ran an ozone machine once, but will be doing it once more after the work is done and the cleaner goes through just to make sure the smell is gone completely. Very expensive mess to clean up thanks to the person smoking inside.
