The Bags For Kids Sew-A-Thon was held in-person for the first time since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic on August 20, 2022. It was great to see everyone in person with their sewing machines buzzing. Our amazing partners and friends at Cathey’s Seeing and Vacuum were on site to help carry and fix machines. Donny was a fantastic Emcee who kept the crowd motivated and smiling. The Aviva volunteers made 2575 bags, a new in-person record.
