Nathan East played on the original Eric Clapton version, I'm no Nathan East...duh. Anyway, it is a pretty standard 1-4-5 blues progression. Again, I did not even try to copy Nathan East's line.

Also, I played this on my 1978 Rickenbacker 4001 (I think I titled it 1979, but it's a 78). I was a little concerned about "blues on a Ric" and had my P ready but this actually sounds pretty good, playing on the front pickup. All good.
