A Delhi-bound SpiceJet flight took off from Patna airport but soon had to make an emergency landing back at the airport after its engine caught fire mid-air, reports Times Now. All the 185 passengers and crew are safe. It was due to a bird that hit the engine while take-off, says officials. The locals nearby shot videos of the incident that clearly show sparks coming out from the plane's left engine. All were deboarded safely and no injury was reported as of now. 'Today, SpiceJet Q400 aircraft was operating SG-2962 (Delhi-Jabalpur). During initial climb, crew observed cabin pressure differential was not building up along with rise in cabin altitude. Aircraft was levelled off at 6000 ft,' says SpiceJet Spokesperson, reported ANI. Watch to know more in detail!
