Fast forward to 2007, a Facebook post brought together enthusiasts who established one of Pakistan's first MMA gyms in Islamabad.

However, the sport still struggles with poor infrastructure and lack of support from corporations and the government, pushing many athletes to train abroad. To truly grow, MMA in Pakistan needs more local support and investment.
