Backing Track 'Nothing Compares 2 U'
Requires Rhythm Guitar and Singer.

You can see the older version of this backing track and many others on my channel from 2020. The chords have been properly tested to go with the song, and all songs have been transposed (when necessary) for my tenor voice. These latest backing track videos are high resolution and can be seen clearly, even on a phone, due to the larger font, which always fits perfectly in landscape perspective.

The red line idea makes it simple to look up at the audience and immediately find where you are in the song when you need to look back at the screen. I have even tried to ensure the scrolling is as smooth as possible, and animation lands on the beat when sudden scroll starts and stops are required. The placement of the red line just above the half way mark ensures that context of where you are in relation to previous chords and lyrics is always clear. While this does not provide the entire song at a glance, it provides enough of it while maximising readability.

In addition, any lesser-known chord shapes are shown to the right in full versions of songs. I have removed any convoluted chords and simplified them, making it easier to concentrate on your singing performance without the hassle of playing advanced guitar that would clash with the direction your vocals need to go. As live musicians know, you often need to interact with audience members who want to talk to you during a song, and advanced guitar would make such casual interaction impossible on the fly.

The song and artist, year of release, beats per minute and song key remain on screen at all times in a non-distracting way so you can plan your set list, because you are always well informed of which songs will blend nicely together. The black background ensures the screen does not impact your on-stage lighting, is soft on your eyes and highly readable even when you are in a brightly lit area including sunlight to some extent, and minimises battery drain.

Using YouTube's play list feature, a performer could line up a series of songs from my channel to play automatically in any order they choose before their show starts, and there would be no further work for them with any external programs.
