SOLO HIKE | Screen Hill | Female Solo Hiker | Chatty hiking Vlog

Hi Everyone. This video is inspired by the fabulous Annie ‪@annieoutdoors‬who posts really great content about solo hiking, wild camping and exploring Scotland.

In this video I am solo hiking Screel hill in Dumfries and Galloway. I am also having a chat about my current life including university, work and training for my new role as a staff nurse in Anaesthetics.

Please hike safely, especially if you are hiking solo, always send a pin of your location to a NOK or secure person and ensure you have some kind of GPS communication for SOS, like a Garmin GPS SOS tracker and alert or what three words to alert emergency services to your location should you be in danger. Have a first aid kit, emergency survival bag to keep warm and plenty of water.
