Ken Henry, Daniel Sloper and Jason Russo discuss G20's policy challenges at the Asia and the Pacific Policy Society (APPS) Conference 2014 at Crawford School of Public Policy.

Dr Ken Henry AC served as Secretary of the Department of Treasury from 2001 to 2011 and chaired the Australian Future Tax System Review (known as the Henry Tax Review) published in 2010. He is currently a Director of the National Australia Bank and the Australian Securities Exchange.

Daniel Sloper is a G20 Special Representative, First Assistant Secretary, G20 and International Economy Branch, DFAT.

Jason Russo is the assistant Secretary, Economic Policy, G20 Taskforce, Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.

This year's conference focused on the G20 agenda to support the Australian government and its hosting of the G20 leaders' meeting later in 2014. The Asia and the Pacific Policy Society Conference 2014 brings together some of the world's leading scholars and practitioners from a diverse range of research fields for two days of dialogue to propose solutions to some of the region's and the world's most pressing policy challenges.
