Norway announced that as part of its support to Ukraine, 100 Mistral anti-aircraft missile systems have been transferred. At the same time, the rocket is capable of accelerating to almost three the speed of sound, which is an effective means of hitting low-flying and high-altitude targets.

Following the statement by the Norwegian Minister of Defense Bjorn Arild Gram, the handover of the weapons to Ukraine is related to the intention to support Kiev in dealing with Russian military special operations. This indicates that Norway is firmly headed for a confrontation against Russia, intending not only to disrupt plans to conduct special operations in Ukraine, but also to achieve losses.

Experts, in turn, draw attention to the fact that the transfer of 100 Mistral portable anti-aircraft missile systems to Norway is unlikely to seriously increase the capabilities of the Ukrainian army, which, by the way, has already surrendered en masse and is withdrawing from the donbass.
