It’s #NationalWaterSafetyMonth, so we teamed up with cadets from the University of Kansas Army ROTC to dive in and celebrate!

The cadets and three of our #usace military officers jumped from a CH47 Chinook into our very own Clinton Lake, Kansas… all while wearing life jackets.

his was a fantastic way to mark the end of the semester for the cadets with some fun and relevant training, and the start of a month dedicated to educating the public on how to recreate safety!

The lakes and waterways we maintain are meant to provide great places for recreation. With your help, we can make sure everyone is doing their part to use these areas responsibly. Just like the cadets and our military leadership, make sure you have the proper equipment and skills to safely enjoy the water!
