How I Restyled Raquel Welch Always in Shaded Bisquit

Miss Always Finds Her Attitude

The beginning of this video kind of seems a little choppy and out of step because I am testing a new tool to try and recommend it in place of the Lange LeRev that I use and love, (but sadly, the LeRev has been been discontinued....)
I will say that I did not care for the Tymo Flat Iron because the swivel on the cord does not swivel smoothly 😫😫 It is light weight & did a great job! But it had a little bit of drag and I'm not sure why.... but maybe not Everyone is as particular as I am. I believe it did not have curved plates, which you have to be careful of because it will cause a bend where you start your curls. (but that also could have been user error.🤪) I'm going to blame the fact that the swivel cord did not swivel smoothly……for my taste, therefore causing the bends...
I'm also not sure why I had to keep adjusting the temperature up and down for the same Wig that didn't have any severe crinkle issues🧐🧐🧐 Did the temperature just keep fluctuating?
So yes, I returned this curling iron and I will try a different one soon...

Throughout this video, there are several examples of why different tools and temperatures are not always the same.
TEST YOUR TOOLS!!! in an underneath area or on an older wig.
Not all tools are created equally even if the temperature setting says they are😬 so this particular Tymo Flat Iron was getting the job done at about 260°F-280°F, so it would have been way too hot to adjust it at the same temperature I normally use my Lange LeRev at 320°F🔥🔥🔥 ALWAYS TEST YOUR TOOLS AT LOWER TEMPERATURES then move the temperature higher if you need to!

Please accept full responsibility for your own actions if you wish to try any of my suggestions😉

This is A HEAT FRIENDLY WIG! I used these particular irons ranging from 250°F - 300°F. And one section of the video I actually demonstrate how I went up to 360°F and also using spray water at the same time, on a heat friendly, Raquel Welch mesmerized in shaded biscuit, that had a lot of crinkles from over wearing. It's always best to give your girls their heat treatment before they get in very bad condition, otherwise it takes a lot more time and patience to get them smooth again...

I will say I have never taken my flat iron up to 360°F before, however, just recently I found the need to do that on a Raquel Welch mesmerized in shaded biscuit. The crinkles were just so bad and using my iron at 340° degrees was just not getting the ends straight and I was cutting off about an inch of every section I was doing. Not every Wig has enough length on it to cut an inch off every time it gets crinkly... so I thought why not just take my temperature up and see what happens🙄 And I was very pleasantly surprised at how smooth and beautiful she turned out❤️❤️

I believe this particular piece (Raquel Welch Always in shaded biscuit) took me about an hour and a half to complete. It's not that I was fast. I just did not do the top section.😃

Ps. I do not use a heat protectant on my wigs.
I only work on my wigs that are clean or brand new, and tools that are clean. So I have not found a product that I love. So I only use my irons on either dry hair or using a spray water bottle.

Yes, I absolutely love this Wig so very much that I purchased two more colors, SS Hazelnut & Cinnabar, and they are Yummy Gorgeous🔥🔥
