The long wait is over, as the students and parents from Asingan, Binmaley, Infanta, Bayambang, Alaminos, Sta. Maria muster on December 5, 2020 at 1 P.M. via the official Facebook page and Youtube channel of the university for the very first virtual graduation ceremony. This year’s theme “PSUnian: Huwaran ng Katatagan at Kahusayan sa Bagong Normal,” is an attestation of the University’s commitment in ensuring our graduates experience their most awaited commencement exercises and ceremony.

All graduating students together with their parents are exhorted to engage in the following program segments: Shifting of Abaray na Dayew; Ceremonial Abaray Toss; Pledge of Loyalty to the Alma Mater; Acceptance of Diploma from the Parents; and Induction of the Graduates to the University Alumni Association, Inc. to ensure the heartfelt spirit of the graduation ceremony.

The graduates with their family, loved ones and friends are then encouraged to take pictures during the program segments while wearing barong/ Filipiniana or light colored Sunday dress and are advised to post their pictures in Facebook using the hashtag #PSUVirtualGraduation2020.

To all the graduates of Batch 2020, let not the CoVid-19 pandemic ruin this salient and noteworthy tradition of celebrating your 4-year feat in the university. Instead, with dignity and pride, proclaim to the world that you have become victorious are proud graduates of Pangasinan State University.
