2Lt Alberto M Argueza was one of the first fighters from Luzon who were sent to Mindanao in 1973. As a young soldier, he faced gruesome battles in Cotabato and Sultan Kudarat. Then 2Lt Gringo Honasan, the former senator, was wounded in one of these clashes. These are his stories. 2Lt Argueza retired as Sergeant Major of the 38th Infantry Battation.
