The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) aims to flatten Okhla and Bhalswa landfills by Dec 2023, and Ghazipur by March 2024. G20 has led to calls to finish Okhla work by September and work has started on a war-footing with tenders being awarded to three companies to trommel the 203 lakh metric tonne of legacy waste.
