Hey guys, I wanted to unbox and review this 1 carat pear cut lab diamond engagement ring we purchased form James Allen. The light performance of this ring is unreal and you would never guess it cost less than $2000. Lab diamonds really do provide some major value compared to natural diamonds and I think this ring really helps demonstrate that.

I really like the pear cut for two reasons: The first being that pear cut diamonds look rather large for their carat weight. Comparing this ring next to other diamond 1 carat cuts like cushion cuts, round cuts and emerald cuts you can really see a noticeable size difference. The second thing I really like about pear cut diamonds is the light performance. You get a really cool crushed ice look toward the point of the diamond and I think it's very fun to look at.

Overall, I am very happy with this ring. What do you guys think?
