Great Sound. If you're looking for a budget-friendly way to turn up the volume of your Mustang's exhaust, this MBRP Axleback is definitely worth considering. This system uses rounded chambered mufflers, producing a fairly loud and deep exhaust note that goes perfectly with your pony car. You also don't have to endure any drone in the interior as you cruise along. You can only put this axleback exhaust on 2005 to 2010 Ford Mustang GTs with the 4.6-liter V8 engine. Solid Quality. You get your choice of material with this axleback, which is unique. Aluminized steel is strong, but it will get some surface corrosion over time, especially if you live where it snows in the winter. The other option is pure stainless steel, which resists corrosion and should last better, but it does cost more. No matter which material you end up getting, the piping is 2.5 inches in diameter, with mandrel bends. The tips measure 3.5 inches and have a slash cut, plus a polished finish for a nice presentation. Simple Install. This is a bolt-on upgrade, so you can get it onto your car with sockets, wrenches and other basic hand tools. Plan on the process taking you about one to two hours, and it's easy enough pretty much anyone can do it.
