Welcome to my YouTube channel! I’m Mike Sullivan, a former IRS Revenue Officer and teaching instructor. I worked for the IRS for 10 long years, and I’ve been in private practice for over 41 years. I am a national expert in IRS resolution matters and have appeared on major news outlets like Newsmax, NewsNation, CBS, and The Washington Bureau.

In today’s video, I’m going to talk about two of the most dangerous IRS notices: the 1058 Letter and the LT11 Notice. If you’ve received one of these letters, it’s time to take action immediately because the IRS is ready to enforce your debt.

What are the 1058 Letter and LT11 Notice?
The 1058 Letter comes directly from a Revenue Officer, while the LT11 Notice typically comes from a Service Center. Both of these letters indicate that the IRS is done sending warnings and is moving forward with enforcement actions. This means:

Wage Garnishment: The IRS will notify your employer, and part of your paycheck will go directly to them.

Bank Levy: Your bank account will be frozen, and your money will be taken.

Federal Tax Lien: The IRS will file a lien against your property, which impacts your credit and assets.
What If You Owe Over $62,000?

If your IRS debt exceeds $62,000, the IRS can revoke your passport by sending you a 508C Letter. You’ll have 90 days to resolve your debt before losing your travel privileges. Don’t worry—you can get your passport back by resolving the debt. Here’s how:

Currently Non-Collectible Status: Prove that you are in financial hardship.

Payment Plan: Set up a manageable monthly payment with the IRS.

Offer in Compromise: Negotiate to settle your debt for less than the full amount owed.

What Does the IRS Want?
The IRS wants you to submit a financial statement. This helps them determine your financial situation and decide if you qualify for hardship, a payment plan, or an offer in compromise.

Why You Need to Act Now
Ignoring the 1058 or LT11 letters will have serious consequences. Once the IRS moves forward:

Your bank account could be emptied.
Your wages could be garnished.
Your passport could be revoked.
Don’t let it get that far! I’ve been helping people resolve their IRS issues for over 51 years, and I know exactly how the system works. Whether you need to stop a levy, get your passport back, or negotiate a settlement, I can help you.
