Soursound Reverb demo

This video demonstrates a very cool feature offered in Soursound's SSTREV1 Fender reverb transformer. This transformer comes with a stock 20k:8R tap and a "reduced dwell" 30k:8R tap. As many modern reverb tanks produce too much dwell (when compared to great Gibbs and Accutronics reverb tanks from the 60s and 70s), Soursound produces this transformer with this additional winding. The effect is a little subtle at some settings, but you should be able to hear in most examples in this video.

The amp is a home-made AB763 Deluxe Reverb with a Mojo medium decay tank. I have an Eminence Alessandro SC-59 speaker in it.

Potafone ribbon mic in front, Shure SM57 in back catching reflections off wall. These are sent to a Soundcraft UI 24r board and into the camera's input; flat EQ, no effects.
