There may not be as cool and inspiring a character as Undyne, someone super determined to protect her friends and stick to her duty. This theme is one of the first tracks I heard before playing the game as well, and it definitely evokes a lot of the fast-paced tracks you'd hear in a bullet hell game. Fittingly I knew from day one that when I arranged this track, I'd like to have my friend and the person who got me into Undertale, Rich to be a part of the cover. I modeled a lot of the Fallen Hero songs after the guests who would appear or their favorite influences, so much of the song takes from Protest the Hero and progressive artists! I also threw in a little Chrono Trigger lick at the ending to really nod to our shredding guest. I appreciate not only getting to collab with Rich again, but the influence his and Amie Waters' double album clearly had on my own here!

Visually I also tested out a grey backdrop to give a bit of that Undertale purple look a kick, and with some extra time I tried out a few quick effects to carry the 5 minute tune through! Even with fast songs like this, I get worried that these videos may not be as interesting seeing as there's so many. Hopefully you've all enjoyed the big journey through these arrangements, and are prepped for the last two I plan to do! Next week I'm going to try something different for my birthday Monday with a classic rock title and we'll go from there.
