Three Stage Bethlehem Prototype Torch

Описание к видео Three Stage Bethlehem Prototype Torch

In this video, the torch is fueled with 5 psi propane and 20 psi O2. (Sorry for the excessive noise in the background. This was shot at our facility and I didn't wan't to halt production just to get this vid.)

The three stage prototype is our most versatile touch ever! Flame workers will be able to customize their flames through changing the pressures on their regulators and by changing the candle lengths and fuel ratios of each ring.

This three stage designs will produce sharper and more focused flames when pressures are set at 10 psi propane and 30 psi O2. If the centerfire candles are longer then the outer fire candles, the center fire will pull the outer fire flame in towards the center. This technique will produce the torches sharpest and most driving flame. Excellent for penetrating solid boro rods.

When the psi settings are set at 5 psi propane and 20 psi O2, the flames produced are much gentler and they act as a soaking flame. This flame will wrap around the glass and heat it from all sides. This is an excellent flame for hollow work. This is also an excellent flame for difficult to work with colors. This flame will allow flame workers to flow an excessive amount of O2 or propane before flame distortion. This means extra O2 or gas will reach your glass without boiling or scorching the glass. This flame will also produce the torches hotted flame setting. More gas and O2 can flow through the torch before flame distortion at this flame setting and the lower pressure setting allows the gas and O2 molecules more time to mix and combust.

The torch is constructed out of stainless steel and wont over heat or deteriorate. The valves on the torch are our new modular valves. These valve bodies are on the outside of the torch manifold, making them accessible to the flame worker. If a valve becomes damaged or needs to be replaced, we can ship a replacement and the flame worker can make the repair themselves. This saves Bethlehem Burners and the flame worker time and money.
