MatchWrap is a special double‐sided adhesive tape with a thin fabric carrier and white release paper. It is used for surface customization of flooring profiles. It is wrapped around any non‐matching or corresponding flooring profile or transition such as an end cap, t‐molding, stair nose, stair tread, floor vent, electrical outlet cover, etc. MatchWrap Adhesive Tape is easily conformed to and adheres to flooring profiles made of wood, pvc, plastic, rubber, vinyl, or metal. After the release paper is removed, the decorative wear layer or skin of a rigid vinyl plank is then heated with a heat gun and conformed to the profile shape while it is being adhered to the outside layer of the MatchWrap adhesive tape. This results in a perfectly matching profile. Profiles customized using MatchWrap can instantly be installed and subjected to foot traffic. There is no need to wait. Unlike contact tapes, which are not designed for profile surface customization, MatchWrap will not experience adhesive displacement issues over time or visible rut like indentations in the surface of the profile. Unlike contact spray adhesives, MatchWrap Adhesive Tape is quick, clean, odorless, non‐ flammable, and VOC‐free. Additionally, the very initial bond of MatchWrap is forgiving which helps the flooring professional during the surface customization process. MatchWrap is available in widths of 3.5 inches and 5 inches. The roll length is 130 feet each.
