डेंगू से बचाव के उपाय

डेंगू, मलेरिया व चिकनगुनिया से बचने के लिए जरूरी है कि मच्‍छरों को पनपने से ही रोका जाए. और मच्‍छर अपने अंडे पानी में देते हैं. इसलिए इस बात का ध्‍यान रखें कि आसपास पानी इकट्ठा न होने दें. डेंगू के मच्छर साफ पानी में होते हैं. इसलिए
- कूलर, पानी की टंकी वगैहर को लगातार साफ करें और इसमें पानी न इकट्ठा होने दें.
- मच्छररोधी दवा का छिड़काव करें.
- पूरी बाजू के कपड़े पहनें.
- मच्छरों के चरम मौसम के दौरान शाम से सुबह तक के घंटों से बचने के लिए बाहर निकलने से बचें.
- ऐसी जगह न जाएं जहां मच्‍छर हो सकते हैं जैसे पार्क या खुले मैदान में जहां पानी जमा हो.
- घर के खिड़की और दरवाज़ों को बंद रखें.
- खुले में बिकने वाले सामान, बासी भोजन व दूषित जल के सेवन से बचना चाहिए.
- पानी उबाल कर पीना चाहिए अथवा फिल्टर का पानी पीना चाहिए.
- बुखार आने पर तुरंत खून की जांच कराएं.

मच्‍छर हमें कैसे तलाशते हैं
अब मच्छर को ये कैसे पता लगता है कि आप कहां हैं... तो आपको लोकेट करने के लिए उनके पास खास तरह के सेंसर होते हैं. उसे आपका पता गंध, दृष्टि और देह की गर्मी से लगाता है. वे 100 फीट यानी तकरीबन 30 मीटर दूर से भी हमारी गंध, विशेषकर हमारे द्वारा छोड़ी जा रही कार्बन डाइऑक्साइड का पता लगा सकते हैं. वे आपको लगभग 30 फीट यानी 10 मीटर की दूरी से देख सकते हैं.

Difference Between Malaria, Dengue, Chikungunya & Congo Virus

What is Dengue : Dengue fever is caused by a virus transmitted primarily by Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. These mosquitoes bite during the day, usually just after sunrise and around sunset. Symptoms include high fever, headaches, vomiting, joint pain & rashes which typically last for 2 - 7 days.

What is Malaria : Malaria is a life-threatening disease caused by parasites that are transmitted to people through the bites of infected female Anopheles mosquitoes.

Symptoms
include fever,
headache and chills, which at first, might be difficult to identify, as malaria.

What is Chikungunya:
Chikungunya virus is spread to people by the bite of an infected mosquito. While rarely fatal, it can cause debilitating joint pain that can last for weeks. It is caused by a virus transmitted primarily by Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. These mosquitoes bite during the day, usually just after sunrise and around sunset.

Symptoms
Sudden-onset fever, joint and muscle pain, rash, headache or fatigue.

Chikungunya causes high fever and debilitating joint pain, and shares some clinical signs dengue, which sometimes leads to misdiagnosis in areas where these diseases are prevalent. Symptoms usually improve within a week, however, sometimes the joint pain may last for months.
