[INTERVIEW] Première Danseuse SILVIA SAINT-MARTIN about Body and Soul

À l’occasion de la reprise de Body and Soul, un ballet de Crystal Pite créé en 2019 par le Ballet de l’Opéra national de Paris, le magazine Octave s’entretient avec Silvia Saint-Martin. La Première danseuse revient sur sa rencontre avec la chorégraphe lors de la création de The Seasons’ Canon. Elle compare les imaginaires de ces deux ballets, organique et végétal pour le premier et davantage social et humain pour Body and Soul. Elle nous partage aussi le sentiment d’extase intérieure que le langage de Crystal Pite fait naître chez ses interprètes.

On the revival of Body and Soul, a ballet by Crystal Pite created in 2019 for the Paris Opera Ballet, Octave Magazine spoke with Silvia Saint-Martin.
