The second Air Race of our first weekend!! - The Ginger Lacy Trophy. We came fourth!

A slightly heated moment mid race where I thought I had cut a turn point by enough to be disqualified. Sophie wasn't prepared to let it go as you can see! As it turned out, it wasn't a cut at all so all was good. A few more cameras were running for this race so it's a slightly better edit that Race 1. Enjoy!

This is the Van's RV-7 tailwheel aircraft that I built in my garage over 5 years. Its first flight was in July 2023 and we now fly it everywhere we can visiting people and places and documenting our epic flying adventures along the way for friends and family. I flew fighter jets for 20 years and now just enjoy flying around the country with my wife who is also a professional pilot although she lets me do most of the flying!
