Trains at: Smethwick Galton Bridge, WCML, 21/06/16

A great afternoons session spent at Smethwick Galton Bridge on the West Coast Mainline where we see plenty of services from London Midland, Cross Country, Virgin Trains and Arriva Trains Wales.

I only filmed on the lower level during this video, the upper level would've seen various London Midland services working to Stourbridge Junction, Kidderminster, Stratford Upon Avon and Whitlocks End. Their 172 DMU'S operate along that stretch of the line before reaching the start of the Chiltern Mainline at Birmingham Snow Hill and Birmingham Moor Street.

It's an alright station to film at so I do recommend coming down here just to experience it really.

My next station is Smethwick Rolfe Street which is just a mile down the line. After that I will be filming at Birmingham Moor Street for a 2 part film, the aim there will be to try and catch the Chiltern Railways Silver service worked by their class 68 locomotives.
