Upon the invitation of King Charles III of the United Kingdom, His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen joined leaders from around the world in London for the State Funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on Monday.
An unprecedented number of people around the world watched the funeral services for the late Queen on television and online, held yeaterday at Westminster Abbey. The Queen was buried alongside her husband, Prince Phillip, at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.
Queen Elizabeth II ascended the throne of the United Kingdom and Commonwealth on 6 February 1952 after the death of her Father, King George VI. Queen Elizabeth II died at Balmoral Castle in Scotland on September 8, 2022, and is succeeded by her eldest son, King Charles III.
