The Pooja dance(පූජා නැටුම), A traditional dance of invocation. the performers invoke the blessing of the Devol Maduwa, performed in honor of goddess Patina.

Puja, also spelled pooja or poojah, in Hinduism, ceremonial worship, ranging from brief daily rites in the home to elaborate temple rituals. The word puja is derived from the Dravidian pu (“flower”). In its simplest form, puja usually consists of making an offering of flowers or fruit to an image of a god.
Pooja, the loving offering of light, flowers, and water or food to the divine, is the essential ritual of Hinduism. ... The two main areas where puja is performed are in the home and at temples to mark certain stages of life, events, or some festivals such as Durga Puja and Lakshmi Puja. Puja is not mandatory in Hinduism.
Pooja dance(පූජා නර්තනය) which is a fusion of all traditional dancing styles of Sri Lanka was presented by the 2nd batch of nursing faculty on Yadam Bidha in 2020.
