Indian Army along with SOG Police intensify ‘Terrorist Hunt’ operations in J&K’s Poonch

The Security forces on August 4, launched a major search operation in J&K’s Poonch to hunt down terrorists. In an attempt to track terrorists, the Indian Army along with SOG Police intensified the search operation on August 4.The Search operation comes after the security forces foiled a border attack bid by Pak near Line of Control in J&K’s Kupwara. During the operations, the Indian Army gunned down one Pakistani terrorist while five Indian Army Personnel suffered injuries. On July 26, on “Kargil Vijay Diwas” Prime Minister Narendra Modi had warned Pakistan of eradicating terrorism from its roots.
