Thee Sacred Souls: KCRW Live from HQ

San Diego souldies crew Thee Sacred Souls have garnered quite the reputation for their rapturous live shows that draw large, multi-generational crowds. They bring their special sauce to The Annenberg Performance Studio at KCRW HQ with smooth renditions of fan favorites from their 2022 self-titled debut album, and various standalone singles including “Love is the Way,” “Will I See You Again,” and “Easier Said Than Done.” And the brand new Northern Soul-inspired cut “Running Away” is sure to inspire some serious spontaneous dance moves.

Plus, we catch up with band members Alex Garcia, Josh Lane, and Sal Samano over lunch for a revelatory lightning round where we learn about Lane’s compulsion for climbing, Samano’s habitual sunburns, and how all three are likely targets for alien abduction.
