In this video, I am reviewing the Buddy Lee Aero Speed Rope, which is what I think the best speed rope.

Rope specs:
- Patented swivel system engineered to eliminate friction
- 6'' T grade aluminum handles for quality, durability and looks.
- Designed for ultra speed (5-6 turns per second)
- Adjustable for people under 6'5'' or 1.95m

What I really like about this rope:

- Great weight ration between the handles and the cable. The heavier handles give you more control over the speed of the jump rope. With this rope is it very easy to jump from single unders to doubles, to triples and back to singles in matters of seconds.

- Ergonomic grip designed for the hand to comfortably hold the handles.

- The high density of the cable gives you a good feel for the movement of the cable while jumping. It makes it easy to feel the rope moving and turning, changes in speed and direction. Most speed rope usually has thinner cables which do not give you the similar feel as the heavier cable.
It also makes the cable much more durable to jump rope outside.

- It's really a durable rope. For two years I have used it to train on my triple unders, throws, all types of crazy tricks. And it still hasn't failed me.

Some of the cons of this rope:

- The high density of the cable makes it really stiff when it's brand new. It might take some time for the rope to straighten out. You can always place the rope for 5 minutes in hot water to loosen it up.

- The sizing system is pretty risky. To shorten your rope, you have to cut the cable. As a beginner, it might always be more comfortable to have a shorter rope, but as you advance, you might require extra rope length to do some tricks. But that's not a possibility if you've sized your rope too short.

It might not be the cheapest jump rope, but in terms of quality/price, it is a good deal.
