The June auction rescue was extremely tough on Dr Nancy, and even though 20 horses were saved from slaughter, not all of them were able to make it through the initial assessment and evaluation. Before the auction we celebrated our 20th year of rescuing horses with a great big open house. You won't believe how far people drove to come to the open house.
