It was my brother’s birthday. As a family, we went to Kharmih Park in Sohra to celebrate this special day of my brother.
-On this day, about 20 of us left home for this birthday celebration.
- This day is a day of joy for everyone. We are fortunate to have clear and sunny weather.
- How happy we are to be able to celebrate together with our families on this day.
-The Birthday cake cutting ceremony is extremely pleasant and enjoyable. We are filled with joy and laughter.
-Coupled With the beauty of the sky and the nature all around, we couldn’t help but dance on this day.
- The beauty of the surroundings of this place, attracts us to walk around this place.
- Look how beautiful and full of greenery in this park
- For a while, we walked to cool the heat under the pine trees which surrounded this place.
- Look at these massive rock that resting on this place without worry.
- As soon as we enter this part of this place, we hear the sound of roaring waterfalls and rivers which takes us to another world away from the city.
- We couldn’t wait but to rush and visit near the waterfall.
- We cannot help but stand for a while and shoot photo in this part of the area.
- Then, we wander further to rest on these rest stones built in this place on top of the rock.
- Because we have been walking around this place, our bodies have become hot and sweat and we have been forced to dip into this river even if we have to dip in our jainsem.
- How wonderful it is for children to fall and play in the water. We couldn't help but try to dip our feet like children in this river.
- However, the crystal clear of the water forces me to plunge and play in the water even if I have to plunge in my jainsem.
- Like children we played in the water until all our clothes got wet.
- The water in this river is very clean. It makes our body feel fresh, even to dip our feet.
- None of us can just watch without dipping into the water, and to slide on the rock which water flow on it
- Watching the children enjoy themselves playing in the water. It takes us to our childhood days.
- It is very enjoyable to sit on the water as the weather is very hot. The peace and tranquility of the soul are like water flowing without anxiety. For a while I didn't want to stand up from the water.
- See how beautiful is this waterfall. Crystal clean water runs down from the rock.
- Even if it is not a tall waterfall, but it has its own beauty when you look at the water runs down to the bedrock.
- As others are busy to shoot photo. Myself cannot but to go towards the waterfall to look at it.
- The enjoyment which I have never had in my life. It soothing my body and soul. At this moment I forgot all the worries in my life. I felt like I am in other part of the world.
- The beauty of the surroundings of this place it relaxes our body and soothes our soul.
- Truly, Ri Khasi is a land that have been blessed.
