Reload Polaroid 600 or I-Type Film into Spectra Cartridge

UPDATE: There still are some tweaks needed to get this working perfectly so consider this EXPERIMENTAL. And yes, the issue with the film is that my big fat thumb popped the pod when transferring film. Something that DOES NOT happen on Spectra because the pods don't pop easily, and that is why they jam ;)

Spectra is discontinued... AGAIN! In this video I show you an old method of how to load I-type or 600 film into a spent Spectra cartridge. This must be done in a changing bag, darkroom, or any pitch black room. Try not to break the hinge plastic along the bottom of the cartridges or you may experience missed frames (in a very dimly lit room open the front Spectra door and re-adjust the door, gaffer tape helps). If it breaks, rip it off the front flap and use 1/2" x 1/2" x 4" window weatherstripping foam to help hold the 600 type film in place when you insert it, try to leave the pull-out tab attached to the bottom because you'll need it. This method allows you to use the spring on the 600 type. Video coming soon showing these additional tweaks.

Side note: On my camera I meant that the dark slide spits out once the cartridge is inserted whether or not the film door is closed. Sorry for the confusion.
